I'm just going to get into it. I've been on for like four minutes and there hasn't been too many people in here, but I just want to say thank you for listening to the show. Obviously, this is the Shift Hustle Show, where I help you own the hustle and navigate the plot twists. We're going to do a couple of things tonight. We're going to talk about does uber driver have to have the trunk available? We kind of talked about this on the last show and um, and we're going to talk about it tonight too, because I want to get people's opinions as more people get in. I want to talk about door dash safety survey. I'm going to take the safety survey live with you and, uh, we're gonna, we're gonna see what they have to say. Uh, dasher stats. I want to show you, apparently, my stats uh, over forever since I started doordash. It's not as good as you think it will be. And then I want to talk about a female-owned ride share. We're going to kind of go through their website and and do things like that. So how's everyone?
Speaker 1:God, this is so fucking annoying when there's no one live. I don't understand tiktok. It frustrates me to no fucking end. Um, that it doesn't get pushed out. I'm like I just don't understand it. It's really annoying. Jd, thank you for the love of god for joining. I appreciate that.
Speaker 1:This is the Shift Hustle Show and JD left. I could do a whole show about people that bump in and then they bump out, but we'll keep it going for a little bit. This audio will show up on your RSS feed, but it will be much edited because I've been sitting here drinking by myself. Well, we'll see if we can get any more else. Any else people in there. I'm gonna play around with um different things.
Speaker 1:In regards to I hate that fucking tiktok does not push out the chat. That's annoying. Like where are all my followers? Like fuck. So together we're going to take this DoorDash survey. I get these emails from DoorDash and I decided to be like okay, so live visibility restricted. Your live is not eligible for recommendation to restrict in search roles because it contains unoriginal and reproduced content. This is in line with. This is in line with our no appeal. Fuck you. The notice is unclear. My live does not contain the content mentioned. Uh, no, fuck you stop. I don't know why. I wouldn't push it out, so I get them on. Sorry, this is. This is all new, just TikTok streaming in general by myself and like through their studio, and I'm beginning to hate them. I think I might have to ditch tiktok and just go to facebook and youtube as well, because this is not good, I mean. I don't. I mean, it's mostly for the audio audience and I appreciate you guys so fucking much, but it's really hard to talk to yourself for 30 minutes and a lot of this stuff can be visual, so excuse my annoyance.
Speaker 1:All right, so take the Dasher Safety Survey. Hi Jason, we take Dasher Safety seriously. While 99.99% of deliveries occur with no safety incidents at all, our in-app safety tools are there to help you if things don't go as planned. We would love your feedback on how we can make dashing even safer for you and other Datherth with a quick five-minute survey. Okay, so we're going to take the survey together.
Speaker 1:Here we go, english yep, all right, what is my age? Oh, I'm going to show you my age. My age is between 45 and 54. Have you dashed in the last month? I dashed yesterday. I'll show you my age. My age is between 45 and 54. Have you dashed in the last month? I dashed yesterday.
Speaker 1:In that past month, how often did you feel safe while dashing? I mean honestly, I got to say you know all the time, I got to say all the time have any of the following scenarios made you feel unsafe while dashing? Select all that apply. Driving incident I'm just going to read them off because the audio people can't see this. Driving incident, physical assault, time of day, uncontained pet at customer location unsafe location. Customer instructions felt unsafe. Theft unsafe theft. Property damage, sexual assault, sexual harassment. I mean I would be feel pretty unsafe if there was a sexual assault going on. Uh, drugs, tobacco, alcohol use, poor lighting at drop off, bad weather, verbal abuse or other. Um, I would say none of the above. I feel safe, uh. Uh, when I, when I dash. I guess it's depending on the area I am or the area you are Okay.
Speaker 1:Next question how have your feelings about safety impacted your ability to dash? Select all that apply. I dash less frequently at night. I dash fewer hours, regardless of time of day. I do not dash in certain areas. I am less likely to recommend dashing to other people.
Speaker 1:It has not impacted my ability to dash. Well, for me it's not impacted. I mean, I guess I don't dash in certain areas, but I mean I only don't dash in certain areas because I don't, uh, I don't want to be over there. You know what I mean. I don't want to, um, it's just not my area and I'm not super familiar with it. So, uh, all right. What's the next question? Which, oh my Lord in heaven, which, if any of the following dash or safety features have you heard about? Safe Chat Plus, real time safety alerts, safe dash location sharing? I've not heard of that. Emergency Assistant button? Yes, safe dash check-in? Yes, that's happened to me. Well, it says if it's taking longer than expected, I can say that it hasn't happened to me, but it has, yeah, it has like popped up after an order and says how safe did you feel? Safe dash reporting, porch light reminders, safety reassurance call and severe weather protocol. So what have I heard about?
Speaker 1:I've heard about that one one, pretty much the rest of them, so all right. Moving on to the next one you've shared, you've heard about the following dash or safety features. Which of these features have you ever used? Uh, none of them. Oh god, I freaking hate these. How much do you agree or disagree with the following additional statements Because of these safety features, dashing feels safer compared to other platforms Uber, eats, instacart I usually just stay neutral. Because of these safety features, I'm more inclined to dash more at night. I disagree Because of these safety features, I'm more inclined to increase my total dashing Disagree. Because of these safety features, I'm more inclined to dash overall Neutral. I feel confident that the dasher safety features will help resolve my safety concerns. Disagree Overall. Doordash is committed to help me keep myself safe.
Speaker 2:I mean.
Speaker 1:I have to somewhat agree on that. They're trying you have selected. I have not used any of these features. Please explain why I didn't need to use these safety features. I didn't understand how to use these safety features. It was difficult to find the safety feature. I need different safety features. I guess I didn't need to use them the past month.
Speaker 1:Have you searched or learned about topics related to Dasher safety? No, good God, how many fucking questions is this? Why have you not searched or learned about topics related to Dasher safety? I already feel safe while dashing. I didn't have time to find Dasher safety information. I didn't know how to find dash or safety. I mean, I would say both of them. No, I'm not typing.
Speaker 1:How would you describe your gender? I will say male. Which of the following best describes your race and ethnicity? I will say white. If we can deduct follow-up research sessions for more information about the study, would you be interested? Yes, I agree. Yes, you may contact me. All right, there we go. That's literally all it was. I know you feel so much better now that we did that and yeah, that was fun.
Speaker 1:Um, oh, dasher stats. Look at, look at the dasher stats. So, oh, I should have done that because I still have to. All right, we're ready for my stats. No, god shit, I was already there. All right, here we go dasher stats uh, lifetime.
Speaker 1:I made five thousand eight hundred and ninety six dollars. I've done 739 deliveries, only 138 couldn't be happier of. So, out of 739, 138 rated me five star and it says local spots that you couldn't do without you 244. Does that mean I've picked up at 244? There's no way I've picked up at 244 different spots. That seems a little crazy. Your last dash was on july 1, 2025. That's a lie, because my last dash was yesterday. All right, so there's the stats for you. I don't know how you rank up, uh, and then let's see what else I got. Got another just today 635, 25 minutes before the show.
Speaker 1:Okay, these are my shopper stats. So I did a lot of shopping over the 4th of July. I mean, obviously people wanted their booze, right? So I did a lot of booze. So I had six orders, 100% original items. Yeah, yeah, I did fucking great. So there is a apparently gabe talked about shopper stats. If you do really good on your shopping stats or, like you know, no subs and no quality issues, missing items and stuff that you're able to um, get you know better orders. Um, I don't know if that has to do anything with um, like acceptance rate, or if it's just if you're a good shopper, you get more. So I'll have to find more about that. But six, six, shop and deliver, that's a lot for me. Um, I'm finding that's the majority of my DoorDash orders is is not food, it's it's shop and delivers. So that is good. I think that's all.
Speaker 1:Let's see what else I had to talk about. So I wanted to talk about this. Let me copy this and I've literally just saw it somewhere and we're gonna we're gonna explore it together. Um, this is called there. We go welcome to just her ride share. So what do you guys think about ride share? Just, uh, for women, for women, like from women for women? Uh, I think it's cool. I think it's uh, I think it's important with all the kind of the scuzzy guys that are out there. So I've literally I saw this, I have not looked at it. So we're all kind of live doing this together. So you can get it on Google Play and App Store, you can download it. It says you can do preferences, track my ride SOS. Okay, that's pretty basic. Let's go to FAQq. That's always a good place to start. What is just her ride share? Just her ride share is made for women, by women, where safety, comfort and community ride together. I don't care about that.
Speaker 1:Cities serviced oh, they're definitely not from around here. We service North Carolina and South Carolina. It's a Johnny boy. Oh wait, he's not a girl. We service North Carolina. South Carolina Largest market is Charlotte, in the metro areas. Other cities include Greensboro, mr Johnny, that's where he's from Raleigh, durham, columbia, greenville and Charleston. Okay, so it's very focused over there.
Speaker 1:How do I book a ride? Blah, blah, blah. Rides can be booked on the mobile app. Our pets allowed. We are pet friendly but, due to potential medical conditions, it's up to the driver's discretion. All right, I'm going to kind of buzz through these.
Speaker 1:These are very basic FAQs. Okay, requirements to drive Must be 21,. License to drive have access for their vehicle? Oh, vehicle requirement older than 15 years. That's pretty good. Oh, hmm, this seems pretty basic for a driver, although you know what it doesn't say. It doesn't say you have to be female, but I would assume that that is a thing, right? It doesn't say that in the FAQ, or is that against the law. It's probably against the law, right? They can't say that? Yeah, it says our platform connects female drivers and riders 100% of the time, but on the requirements it doesn't say you have to be a female. Where should we go now? Okay, they just want your email. So, yeah, I think this is cool. I'm curious about insurance. Are you sick from me swiping up and down? Might be cool to get him on the show for an interview.
Speaker 1:Most of this shit, larry I know, larry, you're watching Most of this shit was based on people being on. I think I'm going to say I'm going to still do the show, but I think I'm going to say fuck TikTok. Well, I'm not going to say fuck TikTok, I'm going to do Uber and or, uh, youtube and Facebook too, because I need a little. I need a little. Um, I need some people to chat, especially when I'm doing like stuff like this. But, um, did I load that video in here? I did, okay.
Speaker 1:So the last thing I want to talk about uh, need some feedback. Yeah, I mean, it doesn't, I don't have to do it. I can ramble on, but again, I'm not sure I'm gonna have to re. I'm gonna have to redo my the things I want to talk about. If I'm not going to get any feedback, so we're going to hide this Now, we did talk about this on the show last week and I just wanted to play it and just get some more clarification. And again, with no one in here, it doesn't really matter, but I'm going to play it anyways. I want to play Show.
Speaker 2:I had a terrible uber experience and my husband would not give the uber driver a bad review because he was deaf. I, on the other hand, thinks he deserves a bad review because his disability had nothing to do with the state of his car. Now I would understand if his disability interfered with something, for instance on maps, if it told him to turn left and he missed it because he was deaf. That is totally understandable. What is not understandable is having a filthy, disgusting car as an Uber driver. I'm going to show the videos.
Speaker 2:But another thing that happened was we ordered an Uber X which fits four people, because it was my husband and my two kids going somewhere, and we also brought like a platter of food and a cooler. My husband was hesitant, like, should I bring this platter and this cooler because I don't know if I can put it in his trunk. I said he's an Uber driver, they're supposed to have trunk availability. He didn't have trunk availability, so he took all the shit out of his trunk and put it in his front seat. Well, we needed a space for four people. We're using an Uber to get there safely. So then my husband had to hold his junk on the front seat, so we could put our things in the back trunk.
Speaker 2:Okay, here is the video of the disgustingness. My kids were so uncomfortable they didn't even want to take an Uber home. I had to assure them that all Ubers are not like this and most of them are really nice and they try to go above and beyond so they get a great tip. Okay, if this is not disgusting, I don't know what is. Garbage all over the floor has never probably been vacuumed. I mean it was gross. Look at under my kid's feet. There's garbage underneath his feet, stains on the seats. I felt nasty when we got out of it. I guess I did hold the platter. We didn't put it in the back. My husband put the cooler on the back and then he had to hold the guy's notebooks and ipad. Look at all the stuff in the back okay, it just stops.
Speaker 1:I'm getting used to this, uh. So, yeah, I just um wanted feedback on that. I know we talked about on the show, but, uh and my I guess my biggest question is do you think that people have to? Uh, drivers have to have that trunk space available to put shit in? I, I don't think they do. Um, I think you're required to have four z belts, uh, in a regular uber x. Uh, well, five, obviously, including the driver. Um, so, yeah, this show sucked. I'm very disappointed in myself, very disappointed in tick tock.
